Thanks for sharing the beautiful pics of your garden. The okra flower kinda reminds me of a Hibiscus flower.

What a garden!!! Someday I hope to have room for a HUGE garden! My dad has been experimenting with drying his own beans, I hope to be able to do that too.

What is your secret for the peppers? Last year, I did pretty well w/ banana peppers, but even still only got 1-2 at a time never enough to really do anything with. I never got ANY sweet bell peppers. They just didn't do anything.

    I love the cabbage picture

    Thanks all!

The only thing I can say about the peppers is that the weather must be just right for them this year. Last year the only peppers I grew were habernaros for hubby and they took FOREVER to get going. This year we'll have DAYS of rain and then hot and humid and the peppers seem to love it. I have bell peppers, hungarian, jalopeno, red dragon and a few others and they're all doing wonderfully.

I did lose most of the carrots to flooding, they rotted. We actually had 3 inches of water in part of the garden more than once.

Great pics! I'm sure that you're already enjoying the bounty. It's wonderful for the pocketbook too, all that fresh produce.
