Question Do you have a spinning wheel and do you use it?

Dh purchased one for me for my Christmas gift last year and I love it. I have not tried using it as of yet, but my plans are to one day learn how to spin wool on it.

Do you have one, want one or think why have one?

I think that they are neat but I wouldn't use it. I just have so many other things that I am doing or planning to do. I hope you can get it out and start spinning away soon!

I have a knitting machine that I have had for years and still haven't taken it out of the box. Now that I don't need many winter clothes I kinda thing it's gonna live in that box a while longer.

I don't own one, but it's on my list of I really want to do things.
I have a place bookmarked locally that sells wheels. I wish they rented them, but they don't.
There is also a local guild, but they appear to be artisans. I am not sure if they accept newbies wanting to learn, but I plan to find out more just in case.
I don't knit, but could crochet a bit and improve and would love to weave.
I have to introduce things slowly here. Gabe is all for anything I want to do, but one thing at a time. LOL Otherwise, he teases me unmercifully. (ex: I should not bring up spinning wheel when currently working on grain mill) LMAO
I have such the wishlist of things I want to try, so I am always trying to choose what I would love to try first. I usually go for most practical first.

I would LOVE one, I can remember many summers at my aunts house by her spinning wheel, it is something one day I would like to learn!! She got the wool from her sheep and dyed it herself, I'll have to get myself a few sheep!
