    Thumbs up Name some of your basic homesteading tools - non electric

    Here is a list of ours so far:

    - generator
    - gardening hoe
    - 3 different types of shovels
    - 3 hammers
    - chain saw
    - hand saw
    - cordless drill
    - pliers
    - measuring tape
    - screw drivers
    - rake
    - hammer

    I'm probably forgetting some. If I remember, will add to my list later. What are some of your basic tools?

    Just about everything on your list except the generator. And:

    pruning shears, big and small ones
    several ladders
    chimney sweep brush set for the woodstove
    tin snips
    a wheelbarrow
    hatchets
    a vise
    wrenches, ratchets, dh has a whole toolbox full of stuff like this
    pry bars
    drywall spatulas
    scrapers and utility knives
    levels
    a plumber's "snake" for unclogging drains and toilets
    a dolly or hand cart
    an engine hoist
    fence post digger thingy and fence post pliers

    a potato masher
    an old-fashioned egg beater
    a hand-operated can opener
    an oil lamp
    And probably lots of other stuff that I can't remember right now, lol.

    Doodlebug - you reminded me of some more:

    We also have:

    - wheel barrel
    - oil lamps
    - lots of wrenches
    - an axe
