Scarecrows for the garden anyone?
I remember as a child, both my grannie and great grannie always made scarecrows for their garden so the birds would get into the plants. Often they would make them out of pie plates or get wood and cloth them, even putting a straw hat on them.
I've never had one, but last year I should have because the birds kept eating my strawberries.
Has anyone ever made one or have you seen one in the past few years. Rarely have I seen them anymore.
