Do your friends accept your homesteading dreams or do you share with them?
Are they aware of your plans and dreams of homesteading or do you share with them what you want for the future as a family in the way of homesteading? Do your relatives/family know about your desire to live a homesteading life? Or are you quiet about that with them also.

I have one very dear friend that I have told many times that we want to move out of California and live on our own little spread. She thinks I need to be committed to the funny farm. She is in debt way past her eyeballs, she wouldn't think of not having everything last thing she could possibly want and is willing to owe any and everyone for what she wants!!!!!! I still love her, we just have 2 different dreams!!!!!!

Most of the people that I have shared my dream with think it's either too much "work" or they have a different "dream" in mind.
I have no desire to live in suburbia. I don't knock it. I just want something else for our family.

I have shared with one real life friend, she is supportive but can't figure out why I would want too. lol
Ofcourse half the web knows I am a homesteading nutt!
