It's tradition here to get plants set in the garden somewhere around Memorial Day. I do have chard growing & spinach planted. The garlic, planted last fall, is sprouting up nicely. Yesterday I got a bunch of onion sets in.
Lots of little plants started indoors too!
Pickled beets, from another poster, sound very good.

I planted April 1st... moon phase was right then. I planted some seeds and some plants and they are all doing awesome. Totally organic.. actually Veganic. Thing is,,, everywhere I go I end up buying more seeds or plants, just got the kids some giant pumpkin seeds.. so needless to say my garden is getting bigger by the week, and not only because the plants are growing
