What are the main plants you plant in your vegetable garden?

We are getting ready to plant our garden soon, vegetable garden. We ususally plant green beans, tomatoes, zuchinni, green peppers, some pumpkins, and a few onions. What are the main things in your garden, and can you possibly share some ideas about canning with the items that you grow. I just can tomatoes and green beans. I freeze the zuchinni and peppers. I would like to grow some other things but not sure of what. Oh yeah, cukes too.

also lots of garlic, broccoli, carrots,
greens: kale, chard, spinach, lettuces
basil, cilantro,dill, sage
& beets for pickled beets,
gourds for fun
hoping for better cucumber growing this year as last year
we didn't get any pickles up.
this year I am pickling other stuff...

garlic, herbs (dill, basil, thyme, rosemary, mints), tomatoes, strawberries, bell peppers, banana peppers (we only have a patio right now so everything is in containers). Next year we will have a yard and I plan to do potatoes, carrots, more herbs, onions and asparagus.
