I hate my yard!
3 years of drought
2 years of hurricanes
Illness and injury
A lazy ex who wouldn't help out when I couldn't do it myself
All these have contributed to my tropical paradise turning into an eyesore. It will take me a year at least to catch up and set things right, and I'm just tired!
Overgrown plants, untended beds, volunteer plants taking over....what's a girl to do?
My plan is to tackle it in 1 hour increments every day. Just one hour. Some areas are just spray with Roundup and start over places, they are so bad!
Where is Curb Appeal and that Susie Cuelho show when you need them? HELP!!!

Good luck. I can empathize. We moved into a place that has zero landscaping. The yard is very ugly. I have a black thumb so even my attempts are horrible. Good luck!

Wishing you good luck! I don't like being out when it's really hot so do most of my outdoor chores in the early morning. I'm often out at 6AM weeding etc. Can you take some before & progress pics? Cheering you on!

What's nice about a project like this is that when you are done you actually see something for your efforts, very rewarding indeed. Don't forget to make a nice place for you to sit, relax and smile in.~*Darlene*~

Good luck in getting your garden back to it's glory. A little each day will get the job done. I would love to see pictures of your progress.

When I first bought my house I cleared 300 ft. of overgrown mess. Tree stumps, weeds and pricker bushes. I composted it out of sight in the back of my property, the pile must have been 10 ft. high by 30 ft. wide. All of it was done a couple hours at a time over an entire summer. It's still a little woodsy looking out back but we like it. You can do it, just break out the iced tea your going to need it.
