Do you head to the thrift bin at gardening centers?
Do you hit the thift bin at garden centers? I love to buy off the markdown section. It's a thrill to revive a plant that looks like it might be gone.
I like Lowe's markdown section. I got hanging fern baskets there for fifty cents-- they had been windburnt, but I just trimmed them back and they came out of it. My fifty cent daylilies that I bought last year are blooming nicely right now. I just love the bargain bin!!

Well, I kill healthy plants.... So, nope, not too often. Sometimes, they have perfectly healthy plants that just aren't "pretty" anymore. I have bought something like pansies that I know will come back.
