    Default Mosaic Birdbath

I found this while searching for terra cotta bird baths. I love it, and it looks pretty simple to make. I don't know how much the supplies would cost to make it but if you were going to do more mosaic works it might be worth the investment. I thought I would share the instructions. I found this at..

    Mosaic Clay Pot Birdbath

This delightful mosaic birdbath is so much fun to make and will add beauty to any garden or patio area.

Cost of each project will vary depending on materials used.
Due to the seasonal nature of some merchandise, actual availability of some products pictured may vary.

Draw design on inside of 10-inch clay saucer with pencil.

Cut mosaic tiles with nipper to fit into the design on the clay saucer, the outside rim of one pot and the outside rim of the 5-inch saucer when turned upside down. Glue the mosaic tiles to the design on the 10-inch saucer, the outside rim of the pot and the outside rim of one 5-inch saucer. Attach glass stones and the glass swirl in the same manner. Allow to dry.

Paint clay pots and saucers with black acrylic paint. Let dry. Dry brush with aqua and gold acrylic paints. Glue the saucers and pots together as shown.

Apply black grout to the tiled areas. Dry according to manufacturer's directions and wipe excess grout off with a damp sponge.

Tip: Use photo as a guide and follow manufacturer's instructions for all products used.

I love the birdbath. If you don't want the exact same look you could use broken dishes instead of tiles.
