Thought on gardening
We just moved into our house this year and only had time for a quickie garden. I planted cucumbers, squash, zucchini, cantalope, watermelon, tomato, egg plant, and peppers....a few plants of each. My zucchini and tomatos are doing really well and have already harvested some with lots of blooms. The cucumbers, cantalope, and watermelon all look promising. The egg plant and peppers look pretty sad...not sure if they will pull through or not. Today I planted 2 blueberry bushes and 2 blackberry bushes. I want to plant some other fruit trees...any thoughts on how to...we live in hot west texas.
Also I would like to make a bigger established garden (we live on 12 acres). I have a pretty good spot that is about 20 ft by 20ft. I would like to rotate crops from season to season. Any ideas or websites? What do you grow when? TIA
