I should have taken a picture of the snake we had! My hubby went to open front door and there he was, a 5 1/2 foot chicken snake staring back at my hubby. We knew he was around, we found his skin, but hubby said if he ever got close to the house he would have to kill it. My son held the snake up and it was taller than him! I don't like snakes whether they are good or bad ones!

Great pictures - but I am totally freaked by snakes. I have moved out of a house before because I saw a garter snake in the front yard. It was only like a foot long, but that was 12 inches too much for me.

You are a braver woman than I am. I could not have gotten 20 feet from it.
