Default Finally! Vine ripe tomatoes from our garden!!!

YUMMMMMMMMM! I've been looking at those loaded tomato vines for what seems like months now, my mouth watering. We're finally eating red, ripe tomatoes. Just last night we went way off our eating program and had bacon tomato sandwiches Oh boy were they good, no regrets but now I've gotta get over to the track and walk, to get rid of the fat that bacon had in it Anyone else eating vine ripe tomatoes yet?

We have been eating tomatoes since the end of June. I picked close to 8 pounds of them on Saturday. I keep giving them away and more and more keep ripening, LOL!

My family made me promise not to have a tomato for dinner for a couple of days. Good thing we are having a party this weekend so I can use a bunch up and give a bunch away.

Seriously, I have never had this much luck with tomatoes. We usually get a few but they have gone crazy this year.

Ours are still small and green here. But I can't wait for that first bite of a vine ripened tomato.

We've had ripe tomatoes since the first of July. I think I've had sliced tomatoes every night for dinner. I also put up 8 pints of chili sauce (I love it with beans). I probably have to can some tomatoes after work tomorrow.

We normally never have them ripe until mid July but it took about a week longer this year b/c we've not been as hot for as long as normal this year. I'm shocked that you've already had so many ripe in VA already....

    Thank you Darlene
