    Cool Massive Zuchinni's!

I know my dads great at gardening but for a long while we've put the veggies away and only done landscaping etc. I asked for veggies this year and have kinda been helping him take care of the garden - more like something for him to work on as well. And look! Our first zuchinnis of the year!

I had taken the first two to work to share with coworkers and decided to take a pic - as you can see I put a few other things near them to help give a better perspective of their true size.

Look at how big they are We forgot about them under their leaves and when we went back to check on them and this is what we found!!

We call those kind of Zucc's "baseball bats". I try not to let them get to that size but when I miss one it usually gets turned into zucchini bread.
Stapler with the food items was a nice touch.

Yum. I had one that size and then 4 more of a more "reasonable" size. I shredded the large one and made zucchini bread this morning. I have some leftover and will be making zucchini brownies later

Yum! Try shredding the zucchini and some potatoes, fry in butter like hashbrowns and add some egg, mix it up and cook a bit longer. YUMMY!! (esp w/ ketshup)
