We have several rose bushes. I've never trimmed them because I don't know when to trim them. They are a mix of long stem and old fashion bush roses. I was thinking of trimming them at the beginning of October and wrapping them up before the first frost. Any suggestions for if, when and how to trim? We are zone 7.
