Container gardening???
As I have noted I am actually more of a flower gardner & a novice one at that, but I do plant tomatoes in pots on my deck. What other types of veggies are easy to plant in containers & have them be viable?

One year I did a cucumber bush in a large container. I made sure is was by the deck railing so it could grab hold of it. Try that out.

I love doing spinach and leaf lettuce in window boxes. I plant a row of each in each box and harves when the leaves are 3-4 inches long. It is really nice to go onto the porch and "pick" my salad.
Grape tomatoes do very well.

Last year, I planted tomatoes, bush beans, cucumbers, and peppers in pots and they all turned out great. This year I am going to add bush peas and possibly lettuce. I would like to try broccoli, but I am not sure it would work.

One year, I did all of my gardening in pots since I was was redoing my garden. One thing I learned is that containers do not hold water as long as plants in the ground. You have to water more often! {almost lost some plants!}
