    Default Anyone planting yet?

Anyone starting planting their garden yet. We've got ours tilled up ready to plant. Will get lettuce, radishes, spinach, and onion sets planted this week. I'm so ready for a nice salad with fresh from the garden lettuce.

I put in 4 tomato plants last week and some herbs. Hopefully no more freezes as I am in the deep south and it should be ok now.
have some cardboard boxes on hand in case it does freeze.

I planted one cherry tomato bush, one big boy, one celebrity and one "whopper" brand tomato, whatever that last one is.. says they grow BIG !

Can't wait for some fresh tomato

Gripey has planted the onion sets and repotted his baby tomato and pepper plants from the flats he started them in, yesterday. It's still too early to plant here but he's just frothing at the mouth to......

It's still too cold here to plant outside, but I have my starters in the basement.

We have our onions in the ground and the garden is tilled up and ready to go for everything else.

Planting green onions tomorrow. I plant some in a large shallow plastic tub near the house for easy access. Others in the garden. I have starters going. Can't till garden - too wet still.
We can't plant tom. or squash till end of April or first of May due to chance of frost.
Once garden drys, I'll get out lettuce, radishes, more green onions, spinach. Love salad veggies.

I also planted lots of bulbs and flower seed in my front bed, divided some plants. i bought 2 pomegranite trees, I am waiting to plant after I get them adjusted to the hot sun for a few days. I planted onion sets and i have a tomato

I somehow submitted before finishing. I also started some herbs from seed.My container grown apple tree has 8 apples on it and more flowers. My artichokes look better this year and I have strawberries coming on the hanging baskets- so hopefully some strawberries soon. I am planning on buying more strawberry plants and I want to start growing a squash, melons and other veggies from seed this weekend. I have 2 more citrus trees I need to plant.

We bought some tomato and bell pepper plants a few days ago. Haven't planted them yet because we are supposed to have some rain and storms the next few days. I also have lots of seeds, we are going to plant okra, squash, radishes, cucumbers, green beans and some herbs. Probably some flowers too.
