    Default white currant bush

    I purchased a white currant bush 4 yrs ago.It had fruit on it when I bought it.Planted it and it has gotten huge.The problem I has never been any fruit or flowers on it since I planted it.Am I doing something wrong?

    I would try pruning it....that will force it to flower and produce fruit.

    does it need a pollinater?

    like another variety to cross pollinate?

    I have pruned it and nothing
    I never even thought ,maybe it needs a friend ''wink wink '' lol

    I am not sure but it could have been pollinated at the nursery and that is why it had berries when you first bought it. My mom had a holly tree it got as large as a 2 story house but no berries, because we needed a pollinator.
