Oooohhh I would grab them up while you can! About a month ago..my local store had chickens for .99 cents a pound I bought two...then the following week they had them at .79 cents a pound and I had no room in my freezer
. So if you have the room I would grab a couple! Unfortunately I don't have a safeway near me!

just a thought.......what if you bought some chickens, cooked them and then took the meat off the bones for later use - easier to freeze.
