    Default Gift Card Deal! WOOHOO!

    There is a local news station here that partners with local restaurants (not chains) and offers $50 gift cards for $25. It's done as an effort to promote local businesses. There are no strings attached to these gift cards like there are through Best Deals and Discounts on the Best Local Restaurants – Save Money on Food with Restaurant.com Typically there are only 100 actual cards for sale and the sale starts exactly at 9 a.m. I never have any luck at getting in on the deal.

    Well this month they were featuring Hubby and I's favorite restaurant (where we had our first date, anniversary dinner, etc). I set email reminders and I got $100 worth of gift cards for $50. I figure this will cover our next anniversary dinner and Valentine's Day.

    We have something here called Value Connection and they have similar deals, but it is usually too far for me to use them.

    The radio stations and a couple new channels here to do and we call it "Double Day". I've gotten quite a few good deals over the years.

    Congratulations! That's a fantastic deal.
    Bank of America is THE godfather of Hell with Wells Fargo running neck and neck. When the world ends the only things that will be left are cockroaches, Walmart, Wells Fargo and Bank of America. Not necessarily in that order. The order remains to be seen.
