I genuinely find making lists really fun
I love ticking everything off and feeling a bit more in control of everything!
I find post-it notes really useful so that I don't lose them (which happens to me a lot, too); I have three stuck on the living room wall...erm, sort of discreetly...and two stuck up in the bedroom to remind me what I have to do today haha.2012

I hate making lists, I just know what needs to be done and do it. I do make a grocery list for my memory's sake!
I worked with a lady that wanted me to make lists all the time and I told her that I don't need to do that, I like to use my memory. She didn't like that! LOL She had the bad memory! He He!Loving Wife to Ken 27 yrs & 3 sons

This reminds me of a joke I heard recently:
An elderly lady was walking thru the grocery store, making the following gestures every few minutes:
She put both hands on top of her head.
Then she put her hands over her breasts.
Next, her hands were on her butt.
Lastly, she place both hands over her crotch.
Another lady, seeing her do this, asked what it meant.
The elderly lady replied, "I forgot my grocery list, and this is the only way I can remember what it need.
1. A head of lettuce
2. 2 jugs of milk
3. A package of buns
4. And a bottle of "Joy".Jean

Oh Lord, I hope I never get to the way the little old lady was!! Who knows, it could happen!!
I am an inveterate list maker. Have tried not making lists, but it just doesn't work for me.Travel light. The baggage of the past can only hold you back.

I am a crazy list maker as well! It helps me to stay more organized. I make grocery lists, cleaning lists, daily to do lists, forum/work check lists... it goes on and on for me!

I write lists for everything
I add stuff I've already done so I get that sense of completion so I get the satisfaction of ticking them even if they weren't on the list
I try to write lists to organise less-organised people
I hide some of my more embarrassing lists so nobody stumbles upon them
I find old lists I've lost and laugh at my crazy listmaking
I just made this post into a list without even trying
Its like I go on autopilot, sometimes I pick up a pen and start writing a list without consciously being aware of it
Oh and if I start crossing off things on my list that I've accomplished and it starts looking too messy I have to start the list over again.
Sometimes i even write "update this list" on my lists

I enjoy making lists, usually I make :
- to do list
- grocery list
- general shopping list
I check them daily & make sure I cross the "done" items on the listt.

I make lists, but not as much and as detailed as my mom. My siblings and I have teased her many times when we see things like "shower" and "eat lunch" on her lists! She is retired now and lives in another state so not sure what her lists look like nowadays.
