Default List Makers to save money and time

I am a list maker. I make lists for everything. Camping, we need a list, groceries, house cleaning, whatever.

I stop just short of making lists of list lol.

My list today is short but busy.

I need to go through freezer, pantry, fridge.
I need to Plan 36 meals.
I need a dry bones grocery list--I have some things I need extra money for and I want to steal it from the groceries.

Seems small but I think I have my work cut out for me!

My freezer is well stocked and I think I need to check some dates, and move some of the older things forward.

This will also help me with my grocery budget. I want to cut it in half if I can.

    Debt #2 12/31/12 CC $901.88
    Debt #3 12/31/12 $3648.83

Madness, mayhem chaos...my work here is done!

You just need a list of lists. Here you go:

    Work on grocery list.
Work on list of other areas that need a going-through.
    Organize lists...

I am just like you, I am a list maker. I make lists for everything. Things that need to be done, and things that I have finished, things I need to pack and things that I need to buy!!

I also re-write my lists when I have them done so I can organize it according to the store I am going to be shopping at..

I am ashamed to admit I have made a list of lists to make

Also when I do something that wasn't on my list I write it on there and mark it off. Guess I'm weird like that.

I love my lists... I also add to mine after I do something just so I can check it off and have made lists of my lists. I have several lists saved on my computer so I can change them and print them when I need to. These include...

-meals, divided by type of meat needed
-kids choices for breakfast and lunch so when they ask "What do we have," I can just refer them to the list
-a To Do list that has weekly and daily household chores, a rough time schedule, a place for people I need to call and their numbers, and a place at the bottom to write in any additions
-a standard grocery list so I can just go through my fridge and pantry to see what's missing
-a form for lesson planning that ds and I fill out together divided into sections: What we NEED to do today; What Mom would LIKE to do today; What J would LIKE to do today

Now, I must admit that I love making the lists much more than I following them and at times writing the list is all that I get accomplished.

I make lists for EVERYTHING too. If I don't, I'll go bonkers. I am so list organized it's sick. I keep them until everything is crossed off though. But sometimes I'll turn it over and start a new list to remove whats already been done.

    hehe

I'll be honest; I really suck at making lists. It's not that I don't make any lists because Lord forbid, I forget stuff if I don't. My big problem? Making a list for the things I hate to do. I can't bring myself to make a list for cleaning specific rooms in the house. I also can't bring myself to make a list for Christmas things because my habit has always been to buy everything two weeks before Christmas.

Any help for a gal who loves lists but can't seem to make them for the things she hates to do? Do I just buck up and do it?

Yup. When you've done something on the list, you cross it off, and the things that don't get done ... they're put on a new list!

omg i am a compulsive list maker. i try every now and then to just THROW away the notebook. then within hours i am rushing to start a new one with what i thought was in old one.

I too add things to list just to cross them off, and i dont even have anyone to show that i did all this! Would be different if i had hubby i had to say look what i did all day!

Lists rule. I love the satisfaction of crossing off items.
