Home Inventory
Does anyone keep a spreadsheet, database or printed inventory of stuff - primarily stuff that is packed away.
I know some of you do this for your pantry, but I'm thinking along the lines of something for the out of season/wrong sized clothing that so many of us pack away for our kids. I just hauled out some hand me down shoes for my daughter last week, only to find that she had already grown out of some of them. Does anyone else track these things? I'm thinking it would make life easier if I actually knew what was in those boxes

I try my best to just label the boxes that items are packed in. This way instead of having a list in my hand or trying to find it in my file system, all I need to do is go to the attic or basement and look at the boxes to know what I have.
