i think i'd still prefer my binder with baseball card pages. if i wanted to start up a price book again i can make a section for it at the back using looseleaf paper and dividers.

OOh! I like this one ALOT! I wish I had the money to get it. I use alot of coupons! The binder with baseball card pages just did not work well for me. This looks like it would ride nicely in the child seat of your shopping cart. So many colors! I like the black.

Binder method for coupon organization
Does any one else use a binder to organize their coupons? I have decided to try this method. I have been setting up my binder over the last two days. It is alot of work, but I think it will pay off in the long run. I am using the trading card pages with nine pockets per page, I bought 60 of those (could use 100, but I bought all that my Wal-Mart had), I also am using some heavy duty sheet protectors and cd-holder pages that I already had, to hold rebate forms and larger coupons, rain checks, etc. I bought a 3-ring zippered binder to hold everything. I have 24 tabbed dividers to organize my catergories of coupons.

LOL! Melissa! I knew if the word "binder" or "notebook" was in the subject line, you would be sure to reply! I love your notebook. I should have bought a 3 inch binder, mine is really full already. I use alot of coupons, usually saving $20 or more each week just from coupons. I have cut in grocery bill by MORE than 50% by shopping sales, stockpiling and using coupons.

I have a coupon binder. I love it! It keeps me organized ( well, for me it's as organized as possible!! Hehehe!) I love it. I want to get more pages and clean it up and update it for the new year.

another coupon binder user here. the one thing i would suggest is one 8.5 x 11 sheet protector to go in the front to hold the coupons you are going to give to the cashier. as i put the items in my cart, i put the coupon that goes with it in the full size page. keeps them all together.
when i am feeling particularly organized, i will pull out coupons i plan to use when i make my list and i keep them in the first couple of baseball pages i have in teh front. then i don't have to flip through the rest of the notebook looking for a coupon unless i happen upon a good sale on something. i make my lists on looseleaf paper so i can put it in the binder and not lose it before i get to the store. i also put a little c by the things on the list that i have a coupon for so i don't forget to pull the coupon when i put the item in my cart. sometimes i make my list a couple of days before i go shopping so i forget sometimes.wife to carl

I used to before we switched to organics and I didn't have so many coupons to use any more. Mine was set up just like you described in your first post.

I did for a little while and then I went back to the old filing box. It just seems easier for me to file them in the box.
I am sure the binder method works for some, just not for me. I did like that you could see the coupons as you turned the page.~*Michelle*~

Well, the binder is finished! It took me about 12 hours, including transfering my many coupons over from my other filing system, and cutting all the coupons from the FOUR newspapers I bought Sunday and filing those, too. I love it. It is too cool. I will call it "My Precious.....". DH thinks I am completely insane.

Missy inspired me to create one a while back.
I love it! I use larger sized pockets-- the kind for 4x6 photos (3 pockets per notebook sized page) in mine on some pages and just put several coupons of one kind in the pocket. (Ie: all frozen entrees, rather than a pocket for each different kind). That makes the filing faster, but it's still easy to see which coupons I have. (I use baseball card holder pages,too- it just depends on the category.) I use the same 4x6 holder pockets for rebates-- I collect proofs and forms in the back pages of my binder.
I did end up switching to a binder that zips shut-- drop it once and send coupons flying everywhere, and you'll know why!
I've had four different people compliment me on my notebook in the grocery store now.
