Crafted Gift Planning Binder

I had a brain wave, and have started to put together a binder of crafting information for our Christmas presents, and for stuff to make and keep on hand for gifts in general.

I've gotten some nice ideas from library crafting/gift books, and I will be photocopying the good pages and putting them in the binder. I will also have a list of who is getting what for Christmas, and the projects I will work on, in order.

Eventually, I want to include a list of all my yarn (fiber/color/amount), and crafting supplies, so I know what I have on hand.

I also just went through a Magic Cabin catalog, and tore out pages with stuff I could easily make - this will be stuff to make whenever I get a chance and keep on hand for kid gifts. Off the top of my head, I remember fairy bookmarks, made with felt for the bookmark, with a tiny soft sculpture head and tulle wings; silk throwing toys with a heavy ball attached to a silky streamer tail; a pirate dress-up set with simple hat and eye-patch; and some cute painting smocks. All relatively easy to make, and way cheaper than buying from a boutique store like that!
