    Post Gender typing everyday items

Everything has a gender, but what? If you are like most people, common everyday items look inert; what you may not know is that many of them actually have a gender. For example:

ZIPLOC BAGS: Male. They hold everything in, but you can see right through them.

PHOTOCOPIER: Female. Once turned off, it takes a while to warm them back up. It is an effective reproductive device if the right buttons are pushed, but can wreak havoc if wrong buttons get pushed.

TIRES: Male. It goes bald and often is over inflated.

HOT AIR BALLOONS: Male. To get it to go anywhere, you have to light a fire under it . . . and, of course, there is the part about being full of hot air.

SPONGES: Female. They are soft and squeezable -- and retain water.

WEB PAGES: Female. They are always getting hit on.

SUBWAYS: Male. Uses the same old lines to pick up people everyday.

HOURGLASS: Female. Over time, the weight shifts to the bottom.

HAMMERS: Male. It hasn't evolved much over the last 5,000 years, but it is handy to have around.

REMOTE CONTROL: Female. (Ha! I bet you thought it would be male, right?) But considering that it gives a man pleasure and he would be lost without it. Also, while he doesn't always know the correct buttons to push, he keeps on trying until he gets it right.

    LOL! That was cute!

I thought the remote control would be male, but after reading why it is female, it makes perfect sense.
