Any avid penpallers out there?
I'm looking for a special pal or 2 (preferrably but not exclusively international and snail mail). I used to be an avid penpaller but life got in my way. I had a back surgery that went bad afterwards and my kids were all either in or entering high school so my personal time was very limited (3 kids, a nephew and an exchange student during this time, living in our house). Anyway, just wondering if anyone might be interested in exploring the possibility of exchanging a few emails back and forth to see if we have anything in common to write about....? Only ladies please.

I'm not a lady
, but I am female :-)
I'd be very much interested in exchanging letters (which I type - otherwise, it would be impossible to decipher my letters) or e-mails with somebody from northern America. I fulfill all those prejudices you may have about Europeans, and then some more

I don't know if I qualify as an "avid" anything, but if anyone wants to exchange letters with a California girl, I'm happy to oblige. I'm inconsistent, as sometimes things get crazy in my and it takes me a while to get back to reality, but I do tend to write lengthy tomes when the mood strikes.
