The Caribbean
Hi, I live in Trinidad in the Caribbean. Is any one from here or have you ever visited Trinidad & Tobago?

Hi.
I haven't lived there, but I was fortunate enough to have a relative who very generously invited me along on a trip to Tortola. It was the greatest vacation of my life, hands down. I will never forget the beautiful sealife -- I couldn't get enough of snorkeling.

No, sorry to say I haven't. While living in Venezuela I was advised that it "might not" be the safest place for a single female to visit on her own so I went to St. Vincent and Barbados instead.
Have seen a few shows on Trinidad (and read articles about it) and it looks beautiful!
Have you lived there all your life? Or - how long?

I was born in Venezuela actually and moved to Trinidad with my mom to live with her mom. My dad then moved to New York and then to Miami where he died in '85. I've been living here ever since and I have one son who's just turned 20 and I just turned 51 going on 31 on Thursday. (LOL)

Hey......HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!
Hope you enjoyed it.
We shall have an 'FV Retreat" and come see you!!! Have you been getting the rains that S. Amer. has been getting? Some horrendous flooding going on.........we want SUNSHINE not rain when we come!
Met a couple teachers from Trinidad when I was in Ven. Good people!

Thanx,, I had a lovely day.
We don't get flooding like that continent. We have 2 seasons, wet and dry and only in low-lying areas do we get flooding at times in the wet season. But nowadays there seems to be rain almost every day and it's supposed to be our dry season and our famous Carnival is coming up next month.
I would just love for you all to come on down and enjoy our beaches and finger-licking food or as we say "sweet hand" with coconut water you can get every day YUM!.

Thanks for the welcome and the birthday greetings, it was last Thursday the 3rd. I am expecting greater things this year and I thank the Lord for taking out of my life what needed to be removed and for bringing into my life what I need. God bless you all today and be safe wherever you are from.
