Snail mail pen pals

Computers are great but I miss the snail mail letter days of old.

I live in southern Victoria, Australia. I live on a couple of acres outside a small town. I have three boys and my husband is the local policeman. I grow all my own veges and rear animals for the freezer. My hobbies are sewing, embroidery, designing clothing, extreme gardening, painting, and flying.

I know what you mean! It sounds like a wonderful life for you! Minus the animals in the freezer part. LOL

I kill everything I plant too, so........ With nursing school and 6 kids this is my time (6 am or 10pm).
I do LOVE letter via snail mail too ( But who has the time these days)

Once a year I take a chainsaw to the garden!

I have about a quarter of an acre of garden, mostly native trees and shrubs. Fortunetely the sheep did an ok job of cutting it back this year so I didn't have much to do.

I must admit to being a lazy letter writer so am a big fan of emails. I don't have to collate my thoughts into a single document and can just send my semicoherent ramblings to people as they come to me. LOL

Having said that I am happy to chat with anyone who like it. I always like to meet new people.

So tell me about extreme gardening. I am interested. This time last year my husband, two girls and I were in Australia. What a wonderful place. We lived in Japan at the time.

I recently relocated to Heidelberg, Germany. Here there are community gardens) next to our home. I love the urban garden plots. I am green with envy since my family and I will not be able to have a garden until my husband retires and we can move out of town.

We are counting the months. I would love to correspond with you via snail mail if you already don' t have too many letters to write. Looks like many of us like your idea. I get nothing but bills, junk mail and seasonal commercial cards.
