    Authentic Beef and Bean Burritos Recipe

    Preparation Steps:
    I grew up eating these. They are the ultimate comfort food. The blend of spices make them special.

    After I found this recipe my family wanted these at least once a week.

    We skip #2 and eat them plain
    Serves:
    6
    Directions:
    a.. 1 lb ground beef
    b.. 1/4 cup tomato puree
    c.. 1 (16 ounce) can refried beans
    d.. 1 small onion, chopped
    e.. 1 teaspoon salt
    f.. 3/4 teaspoon chili powder
    g.. 1/2 teaspoon coriander
    h.. 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
    i.. 3/4 teaspoon cumin
    j.. 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
    k.. 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
    l.. 6 flour tortillas
    1.. Brown ground beef in large skillet. Drain if needed. Add remaining ingredients (except tortillas) and cook together for 10 minutes.
    2.. Wrap filling into tortilla with your choice of cheddar cheese, sour cream, black olives, avocado, and/or salsa.

    Prowling around the FV cookbook, and I think this one is a winner. I may do it with just beans, though. Not a big fan of ground beef, so I don't keep it around, and I have all the other ingredients at hand!

    yum. defrosting beef now.
    11% gross to retirement
    10% takehome to tithe and offerings
    emergency fund maintained at 3000(works for me)
    credit card debt 7500
    mortgage free
    freedom accounts/sinking funds that ebb and flow
    then live on the rest!

    i am trying something new. LDS church advises savings or debt repayment should be the same as the tithe. 10% each.
