A heads up to those who use propane
Got a fill up today. I called a couple days ago and got 2.35/gal. He said good thing I called when I did it went up 5 cents today. Said they are telling customers who call to fill up sooner rather than later because prices are not falling off like they normally do in the summer, rather they are continuing to rise. (last year this time I paid 1.79/gal. So, if you use propane and need a fill, think about filling up sooner rather than later if you can. He said their cost for Kerosene rose 1.35 in the past 5 weeks.
My bill.....697.22
I suddenly feel like going out and chopping wood.

Our guy came out last week to fill us up. $3.78/gal. I pay when he comes out so I can get that discount.

We just had ours filled for the whole winter supply and we paid 2.49. I always look around each year to see who will give us a good price and then we go with them. We had to change provider this year they were .10 cheaper. Now we don't have to worry about a heating bill.

Glad you got your propane now.
It's going to be a rough winter. We can barely get by paying for ourselves but you know we are going to be expected to help others pay for their heat. People need to scrape & save & maybe pool their resources with friends & family all they can NOW to pay & care for their own, just like I am. I'm taxed and fee'd to death and can't handle much more. I'm sorry.~*Darlene*~

My daughter and her family are moving and are going to have to use propane when they do.
I've been worrying about how much it'll cost them and know it's not gonna be cheap by any means.
It's getting to the point, what are people supposed to do?

I just read in our paper this morning that our electric bill may increase 21% in a couple of months. Yikes! It sure is gonna be a rough winter for us too. No end in sight. I went to the store this morning and milk was $3.49 per gallon! I came home and told the kids, milk on cereal only. If you must drink it, use the small glasses! Sheesh, pop is cheaper!

I don't use this type of energy but after watching some stuff about people stealing gas in our area farms/ranches/&vineyards I wonder if you should find a way to lock your tank off???

Here in NY I've been paying 4.50 a gallon for a long time, luckily I just use it for cooking, and not very much in the summer. I try and filled the oven when I do use it though. Last time instead of 2 loaves of bread, I did 4, same with muffins or cookies, I bake a double batch, and freeze half.
