my 1st pair ever!!

I am 37 years old and I just recently worn my 1st pair of cut-off jean shorts. In the past I would have just thrown out my old wholly jeans thinking that I didn't have any more of a use for them. When I saw the holes in this pair I thought, why don't I just cut them off. I don't know why I didn't think of that sooner. I've seen other people wear them so I don't know why I didn't think of that.

I haven't did that with my kids because they usually out grow them before I get a chance. My DH likes them too. He said that it is just something about cut-offs, tan legs and flip flops.

I think you just made yourself a pair of designer shorts!

My 8 year old dd has a pair of shorts that are a designer brand (bought at a yard sale, of course) but are made to look like cutoffs. Very cute!

I bought a pair of cut off shorts from old navy a few years ago that I LOVE. One of these days that size 10 will fit again.
Until then though I have a few pairs of wranglers I've cut off although I wear regular shorts more.

I don't wear shorts. I wear capris and bermuda shorts but that's about it. However, I am currently cutting up my denim jeans as I wear them out to make a denim quilt. They are so toasty!
