FYI on the Five dollar bills with the big Purple 5 on them...
DO NOT SPEND THEM!..for those of you who aren't aware yet, these bills are being recalled by banks everywhere..due to a misprint on them. They are dated as 2006, when in reality they came out in 2008!..I was told by someone who deals with alot of banks that these bills right now are worth 25 dollars a piece by collectors..so they are trying to pull them out of circulation as soon as possible. If you get them..hold on to them. Who knows how many have been recalled, and how many are still in circulation! They could be worth MEGA bucks in a few years!

Just another urban legend.“When you get to the end of all the light you know
and it's time to step into the darkness of the unknown,
faith is knowing that one of two things will happen:
you will be given something solid to stand on,
or you will be taught how to fly.” - Edward Teller
“Our Earth is degenerate in these later days;
there are signs that the world is speedily
coming to an end;
bribery and corruption are common; children no
longer obey their parents;
every man wants to write a book and the
end of the world is evidently approaching.”
— From a translation of an inscription on
an Assyrian clay tablet, circa 2800 B.C.E.
God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
courage to change the things I can,
and the wisdom to know the difference.

I don't like them much 'cuz the machine to put $ on our laundry card won't take any of the new bills that have come out.

The good news, however, is that those bills are still worth about $5.00!
If you could kick in the pants the person responsible for your problems, you wouldn't be able to sit for a month.
Did you know that a 4 year student paying $20,000/year who finances their education graduates with over $103,000 in debt to start? But a student who works and pays cash and takes 6 years to graduate ends with $6,300 in their pocket! So much for "getting a head start by financing!"

LOL yes I would hope they are worth $5.
Little story for you - when they first came out I was working as a cashier. The first time I saw them, I asked the customer if they were Canadian. LOL I only saw it wrapped around other $. I felt like a silly hiney when I realized they were just the new 5s.
