    Default Catnip Oil and Mosquitos

Research shows catnip essential oil may be 10x more effective against mosquitoes than DEET (a harsh chemical found in many repellents), so use the herb as a safe bug-fighter. Buy a spray whose label lists catnip oil, or nepetalactone-or make your own by shaking 6 drops of oil in 3 ounces of water.

Dryer sheets work too. Pop one in your pocket and the mosquitos seem to stay away!

I am seriously a bug magnet. For some reason mosquitos and fleas will get me and leave everyone else alone. I am going to try this! Thanks for the tip.

Thanks for the tip. I have a catnip plant. Maybe if I just rub a few leaves on ...
