palmolive eco dishwasher soap....
do not waste your money on this stuff!
i had a coupon for it. so i bought it. I HATE IT! it does not get my dishes clean. it leaves a weird residue on the dishes and in my opinion it stinks. not that it doesn't work, but that it STINKS!!!!!!
so in today's (7/27) coupon inserts, there is another coupon for 50 cents off, don't use it, even if it's a good deal. you will be wasting money.
(if it works for someone, i am glad. but for me, i will not be buying this again!)

Thanks for the info. Make sure you email Palmolive and tell them what you think. Many times when I've complained about a product, the company has refunded my money either with a free coupon for some other product or a check. It's sur worth a try.

Smelly dishes. Sounds appetizing. Thanks for the warning. I wasthinking about trying one of the eco-conscious brands when we got home. (no dishwasher up here).

I wish you had posted this before I went to the store.

I was planning on trying it, but I'm not sure about it now. I am currently using Bio-Kleen Automatic Dishwashing Detergent and it leaves a residue on my dishes. I'm not sure that I want to trade one brand for another and still have residue on the dishes.

I use it, and don't really have any problems with it. I do rinse out my dishes after eating so they're generally clean when I throw them in the washer, because we have a crappy dishwasher.

I using the eco-friendly store brand dishwashing soap. It works okay. The regular stuff like Dawn and Palmolive works better on getting the dishes clean.

Really?!?! I have been using this for several months and I like it also and have had no problems. No residue or anything like that. I do rinse all food particles from my dishes before they go in the dishwasher and I do not use the drying cycle. I just open the dishwasher and let them air dry. I don't know if that makes any difference.
I agree with writing to the company if you dislike a product though. I did this with some cat liter I was not pleased with and they sent me a refund check. I didn't even ask for a refund, only described my dissatisfaction with the product and they elected to give me a refund.

I was using it for a few months and it worked just fine for me. But the store I bought it from doesn't carry it anymore.
Lately I have been getting Costco brand powdered detergent and it works really well.Nicole, Mom of 4 ages 6-16~
