Requesting coupons from Mfg.

Just wanted to let you all know that I have done this for 3 companies whose products we use (at the suggestion of someone here on the board) and they have all sent me coupons.....I have been just going to their site and writing a little note saying that I like their product and could they send me any coupons....so far so good.

Most companies will do something like this! I have contacted to both compliment and complain depending on the product.

I contacted many a few months ago. Some were really nice and sent a few coupons, while others were either misinformed or lying when they said that they didn't offer coupons.

I've done a few "contact the manufacturer" campaigns and it's a mixed bag. I get stuff about 1/3 of the time, but usually what I get is high value or free.

I just did this a couple of weeks ago and in less than a week, I received coupons from the companies I had contacted. Just FYI, I went through each sites "Contact Us" link, and sent an email telling them how much I loved their product(s) and do they ever offer coupons to consumers (knowing of course that most do). This is what I received:

Jane Cosmetics (which I luv luv luv): Received (two) $2.00 Off Coupons (Cha Ching!)

JIF Peanut Butter: Received (two) .35 Off Coupons. Not alot but some stores will double or triple the amount.

I was so excited to receive both on the same day. I'm definitely going to contact a few more and see what happens.

I did this a few months ago~and I got some great Coupons!

If you contact Bar~S Products they will send you a coupon for $5.00 off any of their products!
