Save plastic milk containers, fill with water and freeze. Use in camper iceboxes or coolers. Also these can be used to freeze colored water or juices in for later use in a punch bowl.

we do this with the plastic 2 litre bottles! they fit good in the cooler for camping!!

I use the smaller 20 oz bottles for in Tyler's small cooler with his juice and milk when we go somewhere for the day.

What great ideas. we go camping often and ice can be very expensive when you have to buy 6-7 bags per weekend.

my ds was desperate for ice one day to put in his lunch, we were out so he stopped by dd and took the boys teething things out of the freezer to use!!!!!!!!!
