Temporary relief from the stinky dog
We have 7 dogs (yes, we're just a wee bit crazy here) and once in a while one of my darlings will get a funky odor at a time I do not have time to bathe them for a bit...found an easy solution.
Take a handful of baking soda (the Arm and Hammer kind, not the cookie making kind- hope I didn't mix them up) and rub onto your hands- rub your hands through offending beast's coat(dog must be DRY). Non toxic solution to pet odors when there's no time to bathe Fido immediately. May cause 'powdery' look on darker coats, but well worth it to not have a stinky friend.

I have found the best prevention is a monthly bath during the warmer weather. He doesn't seem to get as stinky during the winter. I have an indoor male pug dog. I bought a dog shampoo for funky dogs. It works.
