    Default Reuseable Dryer Sheets

Ladies, my mom shared this tip with me for a reuseable dryer sheet! Take a washcloth, hold it directly on to the opening of your liquid fabric softener, turn the bottle once to get a dot the size of the opening of the bottle on to the cloth, and throw it in to the dryer! She chooses a new spot every time she dries and once she has 'used up' the whole wash cloth, she just runs it through with a load of towels and it's new again!

I cut up an old flannel sheet into small squares and placed them in an old plastic coffee can near the dryer. I poured a few tablespoons of fabric softener and about 7 tablespoons of water over the sheets and let them sit for a few days. I just grab one when needed.....which isn't that often since I don't use the dryer much anymore.

This works great and they can actually be used more than once without adding more softener. In fact if you use the "soak method", you can often use the same sheet for three or four loads without re-soaking it.

Now, that sounds like a very frugal idea! Can't believe I didn't think of it myself! Thank you!

What a great way to use up those free samples because I don't really like the liquid softener. I like the cloth.
