Default Before you go to the grocery store

I know many of us are trying to save so here is a good tip to save. Before you all go to either Safeway,Vons, Pavillions, Genuardi's, Tom Thumb, Randalls, Carrs or Dominick's check out their website for printable coupons. There are coupons and weekly specials you can print from the sites and take them with you to the store in your area. What are you doing to save money at the grocery store?

I just did this today, and my Tom Thumb would not accept the printed coupons. I have emailed customer service to inquire about it...we'll see.

I had the same problem. The store would not take my printer coupons. They acted like I was a criminal. I used a lot of expensive ink printing them out, too. I emailed the head of the store and received a response that said if I wanted to use any printed coupons I would have to let the store manager look them over first and decide whether they would accept them or not. I seldom shop that store and that made me want to shop there even less. I don't have time to ask for a manager each and everytime I want to use a grocery coupon!

A lot of stores won't take internet coupons because of people photoshopping and changing them. I haven't used any but I heard that from plenty of people on another site.

My tip is to eat before shopping, that way those good looking items don't just jump in my cart
