    Default Rodent Trap.

http://www.durgan.org/ShortURL/?WXXZD Build Rodent Trap to Protect your Garden

Building cheap rodent traps is a good way to control these dirty little invaders that focus on nibbling away at your produce and stripping leaves off your seedlings. It’s time to build mouse traps that kill mice and halt the invasion.

I might have to do that in the workshop. I get mice and chipmunks in there after bird seed.

Mice?? I am not familair with that term. **teehee** We have 5 cats. Maybe that is why...

I love the mouse trap though. I sent the link to my husband. I know he has had some issues with mice out in his workshop and that would be perfect for out there because the cats can't get in there to get the mice.

:clapgirl: I love it! Take that!
Any idea on how to keep deer out of a fenced in garden? I'm thinking we'll just have to add on to our current fence by building up. Darn things.

My cat keeps the mice pretty thin in my yard. This looks like a cheap idea but ugh! I couldn't empty the trap.

Cool idea. I used to trap mice in a bucket in the barn and then drown them as well. Just sat the bucket beside the hay bales. Put a handful of grain the bottom. Mice jump in for the food but can't jump out. The just fil the bucket halfway wiht water inthe morning and no more mice.

Another good way to get rid of mice that leaves no bodies to get rid of and is pet friendly is to "poison" them wiht mashed potatoes.

Any cheap box of instant mashed potato flakes will work. Just fill a dish and leave it where the mice can find it. Make sure there are no water sources in the house or building.

Mice gorge on potatoes flakes,,,,, get thirsty....... go find a drink..... potatoes in his belly swell up...POOF! no more mouse. They die quick so it is humane and if the cat or dog gets the body it won't hurt them.
