Trash bag tip

I read this one in a magazine at the orthodontist's office last week, not necessarily frugal, but it was way helpful when we had a large group on Sunday night :

Double or triple line your kitchen trash can! Just grab the full bag and go, the can is already lined. So nice for parties, and if someone puts a cup in the trash with liquid in it, it will save you from scrubbing your can later. I've put extra bags in the bottom, but never thought to double line.

Good tip as long as DH or whomever empties the trash doesn't grab all the bags at once!

LOL yep, my DH might just do that too.

I always keep extras UNDER the current liner in the bathroom (use WM bags or grocery bags).

My mom used to do this, but I never think to do it myself. I'll have to get into the habit, it does make taking out trash less of a chore.

I've done this for a long time. I started out doing it for the can that I use for cleaning the litter box into. It only takes a minute to do but seems to save alot of time when taking trash out.
