Thanks rainbow......I am going to try both of those.

I tried the 'denture tablet' in the toilet thing and it did not work.......at all that I could see. Won't bother with that one again. Now I have to find someone to give the denture tablets to.
I am always up for trying something new.

I usually use just dish soap and water in a spray bottle for my counter tops. I may add the ammonia and see if it works much better.

I had this wonderful cleaner called Merlins Magic Amber Soap. It came in a paste in a 1 pound jar for like 2.00 It was a wonderful cleaner for just about everything. I use to be able to find it at Farmer Jacks but they got bought out by Kroger. No one there remembers it. I can't find it on the web any where. I know it came from a company in Ohio. You only had to use a couple of tea spoons in really hot water. It is a lot cheaper and I think better than Murphy's oil soap. Diane p.s. if anyone knows where I can get it PLEASE let me know thanks Diane

Take a spray bottle, add some ammonia, depends on size of bottle 1/4 cup for a 2 quart bottle. Fill with water and then add a squeeze of dish soap .
I'm going to try this one right now. Would adding vinegar add cleaning power, be harmful or be a waste?

I just made this cleaner and did the calculation. For 2 cups worth which filled my spray bottle about 2/3 full it cost $0.06. SIX CENTS!!!!!!! Woohoo!

Gardengal18 if that is your garden, I'll believe anything you post. Ummmm the cleaner sounds good, but I don't think I've ever seen a prettier garden. Aw sometimes I don't always agree with post, but am impressed with the garden, had to look at it again before leavling
