Mushrooms

Hi there,
Just wanted to share a tip about mushrooms. Yesterday I was lucky to buy 3 bags a $1.00 each of fresh musrooms. As you know you can do create so many dishes with mushrooms, but what do you do with them when you don't need them right away, but th deal is so good. So I washed them, sliced and sote in oil pack in small containers and will add them to my soups, pizzas, gravy, etc.

I would like to hear from you about your ideas.
P.S. Also boutght 2 bag of green beens a $1.00 each, blanched them and will freeze for future meals.
It was a great saving day for me.

I have put extra cooked mushrooms in small freezer bags before. I use them in spaghetti, etc.
Yup on the green beans in the freezer

I like to saute some in butter (can add some onions too

)and then freeze and defrost, heat & use to top grilled steaks.

l but them by the case at national grocery at $6.49 and l just wash and chopped them up and freeze them l use them for pizza (drain off the extra water) soups,stews and they are fine. l usually get a large zip lock bag and a half out of a case
