Pamper me ideas
We are all busy, and I often think how nice it would be to take a small break from all the busy daily work and just kick back and "pamper myself" with something frugal and fun. I thought maybe would could come up with some fresh low cost or free ideas to pamper us for a change. And make sure we take a day a week to take care of us for a half hour or so. So if you want a day to "pamper" lets come up with some fun, cost free ideas. Here are a few I have thought about.
How about a half hour bubble bath, light a candle, wrap up in a nice warm robe and relax with a cup of tea.
How about a do it yourself manicure and pedicure, massage your feet with a good lotion and finish up with painting your nails.
Be a kid for the day, or at least for a little while. Take a morning to sleep in, make a monster size cookie and have it with morning coffee, eat a big bowl of icecream without thinking about how much weight you will gain.
Give yourself a makeover, try a new way to do your makeup. Try wearing your hair different.
Pick a chick flic and watch the movie alone.
How about lunch outside (when it warms up!)
Share a sunset!
Remember pampering isn't just for women, men need time too.
Don't get burnt out, take a break. Challenge yourself to a day a week where you can kick back for a little while and recharge. We all need a little time to call our own, even a small break is refreshing.
You will find new energy and passion to help you be move forward and be even more successful!

Thanks for this list, and the reminder to take time for myself. I am the worlds worst at this.

Here is a site that shows how to make your own bath products, like bath bombs and oils and stuff!

To me, taking a full day to craft and make these things are better pampering than actually using them!

I like to take a warm bath with bubble bath. I light a scented candle and settle in with a good book. Sometimes dh will bring me an adult beverage or chocolate and I'll have those too. I rarely drink so that part doesn't happen often, but it's fun when it does. I use some of that scrubby stuff on my feet, shave my legs, and just soak away the troubles. Sometimes I'll play soft music. Dh makes sure the kids don't bother me.

Snuggling in bed with a nice book and hot cocoa sounds devine. Or how about just enjoying a sunset/rise with an adult beverage??

I agree
These are great reminders. I recently went to our local dollar tree and they have spa CDs there, 3 different ones, I one of those. They are so relaxing. I also got a gel face mask that you can heat or cool and a blow up spa bath pillow and got a peel away facial mask. All that for 5 bucks. I listen to the CD every night before going to bed and it helps me to unwind and drift off into sleep. Now my husband asks me why I have not put in on if I forget. Thanks for the reminders and ideas.
