extend life of car wiper blades...
when your blades are not cleaning the windows completely if you take a cotton ball soaked in rubbing alcohol and wipe the blades down you can make them 'new' again....this works most times but not ALWAYS.... so don't kill the messager...lol...
this doesn't work for blades that are cracked and split and falling off....you gotta replace those...sorry...

Thanks for the tip! There is one area on my drivers side that doesn't do a great job. It isn't ripped or torn or nothing so I am going to try this tomorrow. Thanks!!!

Any regular cleaning of wiper blades will help. I've seen people complain for months about getting streaks on their windshields, and it takes less than a minute for me to pull out all the twigs and junk. A little effort goes a long way.

Thanks for the tip. Next time I head out I'll clean both. Drivers side fine, passenger's misses some spots. Good to know.

another wiper blade tip: Do not wipe your windshield if there is ice on it! Turn your wipers off before turning your car off. If you turn your car on, they automatically wipe. It'll rip up your blades.

I always raise my wipers off the windshield when I know it will be icy. They don't stick to the glass that way.
