Default Upcycled from man's shirt to girl's dress

I found this great tutorial on Craftster for making a girl's dress from a man's shirt. I found think summery print shirt at SA for $1 and turned it into a summer dress for my girls. I can't look at a man's shirt now without thinking whether it would be a cute dress or not.

It's not completely finished yet. I have some more of the knife pleating to do on the bottom, and I think I might do a flamingo applique on it, too.

    Here's before:

Very cute. I may have to use some of Dh's old shirts to make something.

That is too cute! Too bad I don't have any girls in the house! Yet, maybe I can take one and turn it into a tank top for me!

I recycle old clothes into purses and handbags, and I even see myself looking at people wearing their clothes and think... ooooh, that guys shirt would make a super cute handbag!

Very nice. I have a 4 year-old niece that would love a few new sun dresses. I'll have to search for some shirts.
