Polar Fleece sheets.
Ok, maybe you all already know this, many of you probably do, but I am SO thrilled I had to post it just in case anyone doesn't.
Polar Fleeces sheets will easily allow you to turn OFF the heat in your house at night. And they have them at wal mart and Cabela's. I like the Cabela's ones better as they are thicker, better quality polar fleece, but they are more expensive.
I'm one of those people who is always cold, cold feet, cold hands etc. I tend to wear socks to bed. And now I don't have to, and I'm warm, even after hubby gets up.

I've never seen the polar fleece sheets! I just bought a new flannel set of sheets this past winter (on sale for $5 for a queen
), so it'll be....oh, five years or so before I buy new winter sheets. But I'll have to try to keep these in mind when I do! We turn our heat down to 45 at night, so it only runs at night when it is below zero outside just to keep the house warm enough so the toilet bowl and pipes don't freeze!

I don't have those sheets. They sound great.
I do have polar fleece jammies that my mother made me. They do keep you really toasty. I also have polar fleece blankets that she made us as well. WONDERFUL.
So I can only imagine these sheets are amazing.

They're just really huge pieces of polar fleece sewn into sheets. Anyone could easily make their own with a little elastic and a serger or sewing machine. But I think you'd have to order the special extra wide polar fleece online since I've never seen it in a store that wide (usually 60 inches).

Yes, totally agree, they are just fantastic. Found my first set and got them at Costco.
I am such a 'bleach freak' that I bought another set on sale at Shopko before I ended up with a hole in the white ones from Costco.
I absolutely love them and thought that I would be too warm but not so.
Turn on my electric blanket just to warm up the bed about 30 minutes before crawling in, turn it off and zzzzz right on out...after reading, of course.

But Thevail, mine were under $30 and being a sewer, I don't think I could make them for that cheap. (mine were queen size, flat and fitted and two cases but the cases were cotton/poly blend) Fleece has gotten so expensive that I can even watch the sales at the stores and buy tops cheaper than I can make them. I do still make my 'fleece' sweats though, which I live in during the winter but since it takes right at 3 yards to make a top don't make too many of those anymore.

Got mine at Costco too. They are so amazing. I've turned my inlaws and parents and sister onto them as well.
We never have any heat on upstairs so it usually sits at about 66 during the day and much colder at night. We don't even notice it, nice and toasty!
