slow melt popsicles
Gabe bought slow melt popsicles the other day for the kids. I'm a little slow to new products available, so I kind of laughed but think it's a great idea.
But why not make your own?

My mom used to make popsicles and fudgesicles all the time. In fact I just made fudgesicles over the weekend but couldn't find mom's recipe for popsicles. Thank you so much! I will definitely try this for my granddaughters.

Oooo! I'll bet I could do this with unflavored gelatin and fruit juice (avoiding artificial colors). Thanks!!

I'm going to try it with gelatin and juice - just looks like you would need to use 3 cups of juice instead of the 2 used to make an actual "jello"

I'd love to try this but DS10 is on a sugar free diet and DS5 doesn't need a ton of sugar in his diet. I might make some for DH and I.

Wow I never heard of slow melt popsicles before. My 2 year old nephew really loves to eat popsicles, but right after he eats it, he is all wet and sticky. This would be a great recipe and I think I'm gonna try it.
HelloThanks!

My grama had a very similar recipe to the one posted and I made it with Sugar Free Jello and Crystal Light instead of Koolaid. I know there are lots of artificial sweeteners in those products but it made them sugar free and they turned out the same as the real recipe!

Just a thought....
Would these make good gifts-in-a-jar? Might be a fun one for the kiddos, you could give out assorted flavors/colors depending on the jello & koolaid you used.
