    Default Computer VS. Laptop

If you are looking for a computer, you should consider to have a laptop. It saves space, goes anywhere and uses five times less energy than desktop

I've been considering one of those notebooks as my next purchase. There are some things to consider: smaller keyboard, no CD/DVD, limited screen, limited expandability. The question is what is the purpose of your laptop? If it's for web surfing and simple email, should be fine. If you intend on doing gaming and beyond, it may not be enough.

I love my laptop too!! It goes everywhere with me! It did take me a while to get use to it......the no mouse thing but I figured it out quickly and I really do prefer it over our desktop!!

We just bought a lap top this Spring - it did take time to get used to. Sometimes, I'm not sure I have yet. But, I love having the extra space at home, and it's nice to bring it to the kitchen when trying a recipe for the first time...I don't have 60 "never make again" pages printed out, lol.

I don't like laptops. I don't like trying to use that pad thing for a mouse, I don't like the size of the keyboard.. blech! Desktop for me.

Desktop at home it will be for me.

And until I feel a real need to 'take it anywhere' I won't use/need a lap top. Keyboard.....UGh.......mouse.......ugh.....batteries expensive.

You can get a real mouse to plug into laptops.
If you could kick in the pants the person responsible for your problems, you wouldn't be able to sit for a month.

Did you know that a 4 year student paying $20,000/year who finances their education graduates with over $103,000 in debt to start? But a student who works and pays cash and takes 6 years to graduate ends with $6,300 in their pocket! So much for "getting a head start by financing!"

i love my laptop it allows me to have it in the kitchen when i am baking and don't want to waste the paper to print the recipe till i know it will turn out.

the battery is rechargeable and only needs replacing when it won't recharge. the battery will last 2hr on a charge.

Love my laptop. When I travel ( rarely lately) it goes with me. I can move it around the house, I can take it to my bed and watch movies on it..

I used to own desktops but then laptops were super expensive. Checked the other day, the same brand computer with better everything on it was HALF what I paid for my laptop just a couple years ago. Makes me want to buy another one............ but I can't really afford it so I won't unless mine goes out.

I also prefer a laptop than a desktop one. It saves space. I can even set down in my bed and work on my laptop. And I can even bring it anywhere just like in a coffee shop and work in there while having a coffee. It also very handy during business trips.

Yeah, I use the plug in mouse for my laptop. I don't care for the touch pad thingy either. I saw really little mini mouses the other day but I am guessing they might be for the netbooks.

I'm really getting sick of seeing the "Lolly Pop, Dell" commercials. *must resist*
